Paulo Costa Knocks Out Russian Opponent in Front of Donald Trump

Paulo Costa made an impressive light heavyweight debut, knocking out Azamat Murzakanov in the co-main event of UFC 327 earlier today. The former middleweight title challenger finished his opponent with a head kick in the third round.

“Show me some more respect! I'm part of the best company in the world! Look who's here – Donald Trump! It's an honor to fight in front of such a leader! I want to fight the best in the world! That's why I'm here!” Costa declared after the bout.

Costa added that he is undecided whether he will continue his career in the middleweight or light heavyweight division, but stated the following.

“I have the mentality to make the necessary sacrifices. I can cut down to 185 lbs (84 kg) at any time. I also have the skills to perform well at light heavyweight. I want to put on great performances, no matter who it's against.”
