Iwobi signed for Everton in August 2019 in a deal worth €30.4m, after coming up through the famous Hale End Academy at Arsenal and making his professional debut with the Gunners.

The Nigeria international has since established himself at Everton, becoming one of the senior and most influential players at Goodison Park.

Lampard has improved Iwobi - Robinson

Iwobi has prominently shone under Everton manager Frank Lampard, significantly improving his form after the English manager joined the Toffees earlier this year.

Ex-Tottenham goalkeeper Robinson stated that he has been pleased with Iwobi's performances this season, highlighting his latest haul of two (2) assists in Everton's 3-0 win over Crystal Palace during the weekend.

Robinson told Football Insider on Iwobi's Crystal Palace outing: "I have been really impressed with him this season. He was brilliant at the weekend.

“His all-round game has improved since Frank Lampard has come in. He is looking like a top player."

'Consistency and end-product'

The ex-footballer turned pundit also asserted that Iwobi has added the 'consistency and end product' that was markedly absent during his time at Arsenal to his game with Everton.

“When he left Arsenal there was question marks about his consistency and end product. We are seeing more quality from him in a deeper role," Robinson explained.

"The back heel for the goal was amazing. He showed great awareness. He is just getting better and better.

"The system that Frank plays really suits him. Iwobi is a much better player than he was two years ago. He is improving game by game.”
