The fee which could rise by €5-achieving certain conditions-makes the former Juventus man the most expensive signing in world football.

The next in the list of expensive signing is Gareth Bale who commanded a fee of £85.1m which was paid by Real Madrid to Tottenham in the summer of 2013.

Since joining, Bale has become one of Real Madrid’s key players, contributing largely to their two Champions League titles and a Copa del Rey.

Bale’s teammate, Cristiano Ronaldo is third on the list as Real Madrid paid £83.7m for the former Manchester United man in 2009.

The Portugal international has since become the club’s all-time top goalscorer, winning the La Liga, two Copa del Rey titles, two Champions League trophies and other titles.

Next on the list is Gonzalo Higuain who Juventus paid £75.3m for; the biggest fee for a domestic transfer in history of Serie A.

Higuain, last season scored a record 36 Serie goals and finished as top striker in Italy.

The fifth player on the list is Luis Suarez who cost Barcelona the sum of £75m in the summer of 2014.

He stayed out for four months due to a ban but returned to help Barcelona to a historic La Liga, Copa del Rey and Champions League treble in his first season.

He scored a stunning 58 goals last season as Barcelona won domestic double last season.

Neymar rounds up our list as he commanded a fee of £71.5m when he moved from Santos to Barcelona in 2013.

He was instrumental in their treble success of 2015 and also the domestic double last season.
