Cleric advises Nigerians ahead of 2015 elections

As different politicians are campaigning and jostling for different offices ahead of the 2015 elections, respected preacher and General Overseer of Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor W.F. Kumuyi, has advised Nigerians to screen politicians before voting them.

Speaking ahead of the just concluded three-day crusade in the Eyenkorin suburb of Illorin, the cleric tasked Nigerians to critically examine the manifesto of those seeking elective offices as it would help determine their suitability or otherwise for the elections next year.

“We should look at the manifesto of politicians and pick the ones that will deliver, that will help the people. We should not pick just because of religion or ethnicity. If we vote for the right people, this country will be great and our politicians must always remember that they are in office for the people,” Pastor Kumuyi said.

The popular preacher enjoined Nigerians to come together and put hands together to elect the people that will do well when voted into power.
