The Crystal Palace full-back was airlifted to the hospital after the crash and it has been revealed that a broken thighbone will keep him away from action for up to six months.
Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew says the club is supportive of the player who ‘isn't having the best of times’.
"I don't think we have any concerns about Pape returning. It was a broken thigh, that should repair as normal," Pardew said in a press conference.

The 26-year-old who joined Palace from Lille in January 2015 is expected to be released from the hospital on Saturday.
The injury also means the Senegal international will miss the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
