Vice President meets with governors in Aso Rock

Osinbajo and the governors are gathered under the umbrella of the National Economic Council (NEC).

Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo is currently having a meeting with some of Nigeria’s state governors.

Osinbajo and the governors are gathered under the umbrella of the National Economic Council (NEC).

According to reports, the meeting began at about 11:00am at the Council Chamber of the State House in Abuja.

Some of the governors present are Aminu Masari (Katsina), Simon Lalong (Plateau), Abiola Ajimobi (Oyo), Rauf Aragbesola (Osun) and Badaru Abubakar (Jigawa).

Others are – Samuel Ortom (Benue), Ifeanyi Okowa (Delta), Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano), Mohammed Abubakar (Bauchi), Willie Obiano (Anambra), Bindow Jibrilla (Adamawa), Akinwunmi Ambode (Lagos), Dave Umahi (Ebonyi), Nasir El-Rufai (Kaduna), Aminu Tambuwal (Sokoto), Ibrahim Gaidam (Yobe) and Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia).
