Acting President appoints heads for Parastatals, Agencies and Commissions

It was also disclosed that with the exception of the appointees that are subject to confirmation by the Senate, all other appointments take immediate effect.

The information was made known by the Presidency via a series of tweets on Saturday, May 27, 2017.

The appointees that are not subjected to the Senate confirmation are Dikko Aliyu AbdulRahman as Chairman, Governing Board of the Bank of Industry, Mr. Olukayode Pitan appointed as Managing Director, Bank of Industry; Mr. Emeka Nwakpa

Other appointees subjected to confirmation by the Senate include are Ali Usman—Chairman, National Pension Commission; Mr. Funso Doherty—Director-General, National Pension Commission; Mr. Manase Benga
