Despite being out of most part of last season out, Super Eagles forward Osaze Odemwingie has been rewarded with another contract by English Premier League side Stoke City.
The former Bendel Insurance of Benin player undefined in Stoke’s English Premier League 1-0 win over Manchester City in August 2014.
The injury meant that the 33-year-old Nigerian International missed most of the season only returning in the last month of the season.
After regaining his fitness, Stoke City through its official website announced that Odemwingie has extended his contract with the club until the summer of 2016.
“I’m very happy that the Club have shown me tremendous support after some very tough times,” Odemwingie said to stokecityfc.com.
“I’m happy that Stoke trust my ability in helping to improve and push the team on to greater things, so I’m delighted to still be a part of that.”
Odemwingie has a total of six goals for Stoke City and will be hoping to bang in more this coming season.
