Graduate of Political Science from the Emory University, Atlanta, United States disappointed members of her father's church after she insisted she wanted her wedding to be small and exclusive.

Olubunmi Bakare on Saturday, August 29 married her fiancé, Olaoluwa Fabode, in the presence of family and close friends.

Olubunmi is the first daughter of popular pastor, Tunde Bakare who was also the former running mate of President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2011 presidential elections.
