Oliver Bearman ready to take on Haas leadership role next season

Haas Formula 1 team principal Ayao Komatsu believes Oliver Bearman is ready to step up and lead the American outfit in the 2027 season.

The Japanese boss made the comments shortly after Haas announced Rafael Camara as one of their drivers. Bearman is set to partner him, though the Briton's new deal is yet to be officially confirmed while the final details are ironed out.

"I can't go into contract details, but of course, I would love to continue with Ollie. He is an incredible talent and has shown tremendous growth. This year he proved he is ready to lead the team. It is just a matter of time and finalizing some details. But our intention is to continue with Ollie. An official announcement will come in due course," Komatsu said regarding Bearman's contract extension.
