Super Eagles midfielder has decided to stay at Trabzonspor

Onazi was ready to quit Trabzonspor just a year after joining the Turkish club over unpaid wages. He terminated his contract on Tuesday, July 4.

The midfielder has however made a U-turn after reaching an agreement with the club.

"To be clear, we never asked for any financial improvement or whatsoever, we settled the differences with additional guarantees with regards payment," Onazi’s agent Ayodele Stephen Makinwa told .

"It's an avoidable and unnecessary problem but both parties have come out with a mutual understanding now."

He was linked with a move back to Italy with Fiorentina but has resumed pre-season training with Trabzonspor.
