Super Eagles midfielder confirms Lazio exit

Super Eagles midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi has confirmed that he will be leaving Serie A side, Lazio at the end of the season.

The Jos born player revealed this on Instagram while posting a photo of himself preparing for his 'last sunday service' in Rome where his club, Lazio is located.

"Wonderful Sunday morning off to church. My last Sunday service in rome is a privilege to worship in his presence today.thank you Lord," he revealed.

Onazi joined the Serie A side in 2009 as a youngster after his impressive display at the FIFA U-17 World Cup.

He was promoted to the first team side in 2011 and went to become a regular over the years.

Though he signed a two-year-contract extension in 2014, Onazi will be leaving the club after seeing his first team appearances limited this season.

The Coppa Italia whichundefined is the only major cup in won during his time at the club.
