The arrival of the attacker, who was previously a target for Sporting CP, follows the departure of versatile forward Leandro Trossard, who moved to Turkish side Besiktas for €20 million.

In his first statements as an Arsenal player, Tzolis expressed his delight with the move. “It’s absolutely incredible to sign for such a massive club. The champions of England. I’m very proud to be part of this team next season,” he stated.

Since joining Club Brugge in 2024, the Greek international has been a prolific scorer, netting over 20 goals in two consecutive seasons. Last season, the winger's statistics were particularly impressive: 22 goals and 29 assists in 55 appearances, playing a decisive role in securing the Belgian title.

Among his achievements last season were two goals in the UEFA Champions League: one in a 2-1 defeat to Atalanta in the group stage and another in a 3-3 draw against Atlético Madrid in the first leg of the play-off round for the last 16.
