Fulham has officially announced the appointment of Álvaro Arbeloa as their new head coach.

“We are delighted to confirm Álvaro Arbeloa as Fulham’s new head coach. The 43-year-old has agreed to a three-year contract, keeping him at the club until the summer of 2029,” read the statement from the London club.

“Following a trophy-laden playing career, Arbeloa’s coaching journey took him through arguably the biggest club in the world, starting with Real Madrid’s youth teams and progressing to the first team last season,” the Cottagers added.

Arbeloa takes over from Portuguese manager Marco Silva at the helm of Fulham.
