West Brom say striker is ‘too expensive’

Ighalo has bene a subject of interest from West Brom who were looking to sign the Nigerian striker form Watford.

West Brom manager Tony Pulis has however revealed that they have backed out of a move to sign the striker.

“I think Watford want too much so I don’t think we’ll be on that one,” Pulis said.

The 27-year-old played his 100th game for the Hornets in their 2-2 draw with Bournemouth on Saturday.

After a successful 2015-2016 Premier League season when he scored 15 goals for Watford.

His form has nose-dived this season which has seen him score just one league goal.
