After being excluded by Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh for next month's 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifers against Tanzania, striker Odion Ighalo has vowed to work hard to regain his shoirt.
The Watford striker has revealed that he is not angry by his omission and sees it as an opportunity to work harder.
“I will say I am satisfied with the fact that I will keep on working hard on doing my best for my club which I hope will earn me a recall to the Eagles’ fold," Ighalo told
"I cannot fault his (Sunday Oliseh) decisions because he is the boss.
"Ighalo is in our plans; it is just that for this first game against Tanzania, we invited only two players for each position and we are trying to bring in competition.
"It is useless bringing in three strikers and paying their flight tickets and everything without being able to use one or two of them, so in that way, we have to take time.
"However, we have some heavyweights inand for that position and if need be, we may play the two of them.
