Crvena zvezda coach Saša Obradović spoke at the press conference following the match against Cluj.

I said in the preview that it wouldn't be an easy game because our minds were already on the crucial match against Real Madrid. That was evident. We found a way, but we definitely need to improve. I took the opportunity to play all the players. Tomorrow's practice is very important to me. Saša Obradović

The red-and-whites' coach was asked about the team's dips in performance.

It's not easy, and it's not just in this match. I've already mentioned that we have some focus issues, especially in the ABA League. Unfortunately, we didn't use this moment to fix that. Still, I can't complain too much. It was a double-round week with demanding games. Despite the good mood in the team right now, I don't think you can maintain full focus on this particular duel. The emotional drain after the ASVEL game was visible, especially among some key players. Saša Obradović

He was asked if he had a favorite in Madrid.

Real Madrid is certainly the favorite at home, given that they also have an obligation to win. It's a good challenge to play against them there and to play hard. We showed in that first game, especially at the end, that we can physically match their strong players. Most importantly, we must avoid this many mistakes and turnovers. The unnecessary ones. We still lack experience in playing these big games, but I hope we'll be 100% energized for that match. We need to have good control of the game. It's not easy. They have great players who can make a difference in all positions and at any moment. We also know our qualities. Cody Miller-McIntyre rested, so we'll have him completely fresh for that game. Saša Obradović

Will defense be the deciding factor in the Spanish capital?

You can't win unless you play excellent defense. You have to be at a high level on both ends of the court. Saša Obradović

Tyson Carter hit three three-pointers, and Obradović was satisfied with the American's play.

He's still lacking his legs, and that's obvious. It's an investment that's ongoing, and he definitely needs more time. In the minutes he plays, he can contribute quality. Saša Obradović

He also spoke for the first time about Yago dos Santos' departure.

That's how it happened. It was a decision made by the entire coaching staff. We looked at what was in the club's best interest, and that's it. Saša Obradović
