Obradović Silent on Coach's Dismissal Before Barcelona Clash: A Bizarre End to Zvezda's EuroLeague Campaign

News broke today that Milan Minić had been dismissed from Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet, just before their EuroLeague play-in game against Barcelona. This was a rather peculiar decision, coming at a crucial point in the red-and-whites' season.
Minić was a long-time associate of Dušan Duda Ivković with the Serbian national team and had been part of major European clubs such as PAOK, Panionios, Olympiacos, and AEK. He also independently coached Aris.
The red-and-whites opted to let go of the experienced coach. When asked about the decision to dismiss Minić, Serbian coach Saša Obradović declined to comment.
I have no comment on that.Saša Obradović.
A strange situation to end the season. It's worth noting that this isn't the first time an assistant has left the red-and-whites this year. Tomislav Tomović received an offer to coach Lokomotiv Kuban and accepted the position.
Zvezda will need to hit the reset button and find solace in the ABA League and the Serbian Superleague. The red-and-whites finished the EuroLeague season in the same position as last year, and fans will have to wait until October for new hope of making a breakthrough in the competition.
