The striker netted his eighth goal against former club Sharks in Port Harcourt Sunday.

The former Nigeria youth international is now ahead of Abia Warriors striker Chisom Chikatara, who remains on seven goals.

Sunshine Stars Tunde Adeniji, Giwa's Shuaibu Ibrahim and his teammate Ocheme Edoh have scored six goals each.

Ibrahim Mustapha of El Kanemi and Esosa Igbinoba of Nasarawa United have scored five goals each.

Mfon Udoh of Enyimba, Usman Mohammed of Taraba, Ubong Ekpai of Pillars, Yusuf Jaiyeoba ofSharks, Junior Ajayi of 3SC, Godwin Obaje of Wikki and Segun Alebiosu of Kwara,  Gbolahan Salami  of Wolves and Adamu Mohammed of Pillars are all on four goals.
