How ex-militant leaders short-pay their boys

Ex-militants embarked on a protest that lasted in Port-Harcourt, the capital city of Rivers State.

The protesters claimed that their allowances, which is N65,000 was being deducted by their leaders.

They further revealed that one of the banks had connived with their leaders to short-change them.

According to Vanguard Newspapers, they said that “after their training at Obubra in Cross River State, they opened individual accounts but surprisingly their monies were paid to a single account operated by their leaders at the end of which the leaders pay them peanuts.”

Adding that they were being paid N20,000 or N15,000 sometimes, instead of N65,000.
