Nice Complete Comeback Win Over Strasbourg

Nice claimed a hard-fought victory over visiting Strasbourg in their Ligue 1 Gameweek 6 clash.

The Côte d'Azur side came from behind to secure all three points, achieving their first comeback win since November 2024. Dário Essugo gave Strasbourg the lead in the 41st minute, and the visitors seemed poised to go into the break ahead. However, Pape Demba Diop scored an own goal in first-half stoppage time to pull the hosts level. Nice then sealed the win in the 81st minute through former France international Jonathan Clauss.

The victory lifts Nice to ninth place in the table on eight points, while Strasbourg sit 11th with seven points.
