NBA in the Boxing Ring: Michael Beasley Knocks Out Delonte West in Just 38 Seconds

Former NBA player Michael Beasley scored a lightning-fast TKO victory over fellow league veteran Delonte West at the "Brand Risk 16" exhibition boxing event.

The clash between the two mercurial former NBA figures took place in Miami and was over in the opening seconds of the first round. The 43-year-old West, making his boxing ring debut, could not withstand the aggressive onslaught from his 37-year-old opponent. Following a barrage of clean strikes, West was dropped to the canvas and failed to beat the referee's count, resulting in an official stoppage at the 38-second mark.

Back in May, Beasley suffered a submission loss via chokehold to Lance Stephenson at a previous event in the series, "Brand Risk 14."
