Approximately 50 people greeted the Portuguese delegation amidst an atmosphere of disappointment. Despite the somber mood, fans offered shouts of support and encouraging words to the players, alongside the usual requests for photos and autographs.
Several international players departed in private vehicles, while the Portugal team bus headed to the Cidade do Futebol (Football City) in Oeiras.
It's worth noting that Gonçalo Ramos, Gonçalo Inácio, Diogo Dalot, João Félix, Rúben Dias, João Neves, José Sá, Bernardo Silva, and Matheus Nunes did not travel with the rest of the squad, having already left the 'Seleção das Quinas' training camp in the United States.
