Defender set for Liverpool medicals

Ahead of a move to Liverpool,Nathaniel Clyne will undergo a medical on Monday, June 29.

The right-back is set to secure a £12.5million transfer from Southampton to Liverpool.

The deal is worth £10.5m up front with a further £2m based on add-ons.

Clyne will replace right back Glen Johnson who left at the end of his contract.

Liverpool has already signed Roberto Firmino, James Milner, Adam Bogdan, Danny Ings and Joe Gomez this summer.
