Mr Steven Fortune-ebie said he would like the incoming President-Muhammadu Buhari, to put policies in place that will grow the real estate sector in Nigeria.

Speaking at a real estate business forum, Fortune-ebie said, “As a former Head of State, you know the problem first hand, and now in your second coming as a civilian President, you must solve the housing problem for us. It is when you have done this that Nigerians will really and most meaningfully congratulate you.”

Other experts at the forum said that the country is a fertile ground for real estate investment.

Adding that the government should create a favourable environment that will enable local real estate businesses to thrive.
