Would you support abortion if the father is a rapist?

Glory Madu is a victim of violent rape by some armed robbers who attacked the bus she was travelling with to the East two months ago.

Before then, the 18-year-old girl was a virgin but she lost her most prized possession to the callous men of the underworld who gang-raped her and other ladies in the ill-fated bus.

Not only has she been traumatised by that incident, she is also pregnant as a result of the rape and her devastated parents are at a loss on what to do.

While their family doctor is urging the parents to secure an abortion for the young girl so she could continue with her education, her parents who are staunch Catholics do not think she should do away with the baby, with the belief that it could turn out to be a blessing in disguise.
