Would you keep a joint account with your spouse?

Raphael and his wife Mary are having a terrible problem that could rock their once happy marriage and they need your advise and suggestions fast.

The problem is that they keep a joint account but Raphael keeps withdrawing from the account without informing her. In truth, he is not being frivolous with spending but he has such a free giving spirit and would not mind giving out his last money to a friend in need.

His relations run to him with various needs and he cannot just say no. Their account keep depleting and when Mary found out, she blows her top and is not in the mood to be pacified.

She thinks Raphael is keeping a woman by the side and is using their money to maintain her. All explanation has fallen on deaf ears and is making Raphael very sad.

To some couple, keeping a joint account helps in family finances but for others, it is a recipe for trouble and should be avoided.
