But in recent times, they have been going through a serious strain that is telling on their marriage. The reason for this friction is Patrick, a childhood friend of Blessing. Patrick has always been Blessing's best friend right from when they grew up together in their Surulere community.
But all through their friendship, they have never had any amoral feelings for one another. They love and respect each other and have been there for one another for years. Daniel knew about Patrick being Blessing's best friend when they met and he did not feel threatened since he knew there was nothing between them.
But presently, there has been rumours that that friendship is not as innocent as it seems. As much as Blessing keeps telling her husband that such could never happen between her and Patrick, Dan is not taking any of such.
He has thrown an ultimatum. The trust he has for his wife is gone. It is either Blessing breaks all ties with Patrick or the marriage is over.
