Can You Marry A Woman Who Is 30 Years Older Than You?

Two weeks ago, I was invited to a wedding and I was surprised that the groom was a 23 years old Nigerian boy while the bride was a 63 years old British grandmother he met on the Internet.

She looked old and wizened and it did not take a seer to know why the boy got married to her: to get papers. I was also surprised that he parents and family members had given their approval for the marriage to go on.

I know this types of marriages have been held severally over the years but that was the first time I witnessed one.

That really set me thinking and we decide to ask today on Morning Teaser: as a guy, would you marry someone who is 30 years older than you are? As a lady, can you marry someone 30 years younger than you?
