Avant - Day 1 In Johannesburg, South Africa

The Avant collection was a masterclass in monochrome. There was a strong focus on structure and exaggerated shapes, rounded and sharp. The designs also emphasised shoulders, which, although we were a little over this, we nonetheless appreciated. With the exception of a few pieces, we’re not sure how wearable the clothes are. The collection is very editorial, though, and we are uber-excited to shoot it. However, we want to see it on the streets too.
