McLaren Plotting Further Upgrades for This Season

Over the last four races, McLaren has collected the fewest points among the top four teams in the constructors' standings, tallying just 52. Over the same stretch, Red Bull amassed 128 points, Mercedes 110, and Ferrari 98.

Following their mid-season surge that saw Lando Norris claim two victories, the team has once again lost ground to its rivals.

"There is still time before the end of the season," said McLaren Team Principal Andrea Stella. "We are preparing several upgrades and modifications, hoping they will allow us to bridge the gap to the leaders and compete for podium finishes on merit, without relying on our rivals running into trouble."

"Will we be able to fight for race wins again? That might only become clear in the final three races, as we plan to introduce the new parts to the car gradually."
