McLaren duo Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri were reluctant to dwell on their last-lap collision during the Singapore sprint race.

"I didn't get a great look at what happened," Piastri explained. "Fighting for fourth and fifth in a sprint isn't something to get overly stressed or thrilled about. But obviously, the team now has plenty of work to repair both cars, and I'm very sorry for that."

Lando Norris was even more tight-lipped when addressing the clash.

"I think I need to watch the incident again before commenting," said the Briton. "The fact is I launched an overtake, and that was that."
"I'm sorry for what happened and apologise to the team, but I need to review the footage before saying anything more."

Both McLaren drivers were summoned to the stewards following the collision, with a verdict still pending.
