Manchester United defender weds fiancee in Italy
Manchester United defender Matteo Darmain on Thursday, June 15 wedded his long-term fiancée Francesca Cormanni in an expensive wedding in Italy.
Darmain and Cormanni have been together since there were teenagers.
The couple finally tied the knot at a church in Rescaldina which is just a few minutes from Legnano, where he grew up.
Some of his former teammates Morgan Schneiderlin and Alessio Cerci attended the wedding.
Darmain tied the knot just days after playing for Italy in a 5-0 win over Liechtenstein 5-0 in a 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
The Italian defender will enjoy his honeymoon for a few weeks before getting his mind to football. He has been linked with a move away from Manchester United after just two seasons.
The full-back who made just 15 starts for Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United is reportedly on his way back to his boyhood club, AC Milan.
