French giants Olympique Marseille have unveiled their new crest, set to be adopted from the start of the 2026/27 season. The club proudly announced that the new logo is the result of an internal creative process. The objective was to merge Marseille's rich history with a contemporary vision for the team's visual identity. The new emblem is built upon symbols fundamental to the club's identity.
The graphic design draws inspiration from several periods in the team's visual history, reinterpreting and combining iconic elements from previous crests. These include the white ring, inspired by the 1973 logo; the structure of the letter "M," inherited from the 1899 emblem; the dynamic curves from the 1986 logo; and the iconic double ring from the 1993 crest.
"With this evolution, Olympique Marseille lays the groundwork for a strong identity, deeply rooted in its history, designed to withstand the test of time and accompany the club's next stages of development," stated the club's official announcement.
Alongside the new visual identity, the club has also launched a completely revamped official website. It is more modern, intuitive, and designed to provide an enhanced experience for fans.
