Premier League stars visit hospitalised victims of Manchester attack
A terror attack at the concert of America pop star Ariana Grande left 22 people and over 120 people injured.
After completing their season with Manchester United, Rashford and Lingard took out time on Monday, June 5 to visit some hospitalised victims.
“Been a good day visiting the children who were recently affected in the Manchester incident,” Lingard wrote as he shared some of the photos on Instagram.
“Words can't describe how brave these children are. I wish them all a speedy recovery and to come back stronger. #onelovemanchester #acityunited.”
“Good spending the day on the children's ward with some of the children injured during the recent events in Manchester #onelovemanchester,” Rashford wrote while also sharing some photos.
Both local lads, Rashford was raised in the Manchester suburb of Wythenshawe, while Lingard was born in nearby Warrington.
Lingard had a day prior attended the One Love Manchester concert which raised funds for the victims and their families.
