Marco Bezzecchi: I'm delighted to be back on the top step of the podium

Marco Bezzecchi returned to the top step of the MotoGP podium for the first time since late May after claiming victory at the Indonesian Grand Prix.

For the Aprilia rider, the triumph brought an end to a grueling few months plagued by a string of non-finishes and severe injuries sustained during the German GP weekend. Now back to winning ways in the premier class, he dedicated the victory to everyone in his team who stood by him through that difficult summer period.

"It's incredible, I'm really, really happy. This victory has been my goal ever since I broke everything at the Sachsenring. I'm delighted to be back on the top step of the podium.

"It was a great battle with Raul, and I think the whole team and I truly deserved this result. Especially them, because they never stop working and went through tough times with me, so I'm very, very happy. This win is for all of them, for my family, and for my friends back home," the race winner said.
