Manchester City are in hot pursuit of their high profile targets ahead of the English Premier League season.

Manuel Pellegrini  is looking to bolster his side as they look to reclaim the EPL crown from Chelsea.

The Citizens are hopeful of signing Kevin De Bruyne from Wolfsburg but are still unsure of Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.

City are hopeful that the 24-year-old Belgian will ask Wolfsburg to listen to offers for him when talks begin over a new contract next week.

City are also set to meet with his agent Patrick de Koster next week.

The 2014 EPL winners are are also expected to return t Liverpool with an improved offer for Raheem Sterling after having two bids rejected.

They are however set to lose their chase for Pogba who is reportedly keen on a move to Barcelona next year.

Two senior representatives of the La Liga champions Ariedo Braida and Albert Soler, met with Juve’s managing director Giuseppe Marotta and sporting director Fabio Paratici at a Milan restaurant.

Marotta later confirmed that a bid of £56.7million had been received for Pogba.
