Formula 2 and Formula 3 organizers have unveiled the 2027 calendars for both feeder series, featuring several notable surprises.
Most strikingly, neither championship will visit Belgium's Spa-Francorchamps or Hungary's Hungaroring, making way for more flyaway races outside Europe. The Formula 2 schedule will once again feature 14 rounds, with less than half (six) taking place on European soil.
Formula 3 will feature a 10-round season, with exactly half contested in Europe alongside a series of long-haul trips. The campaign is set to conclude at Istanbul Park in Turkey, which joins Jeddah and Montreal as one of three new circuits on the calendar.
Formula 2 will welcome two new venues – Istanbul Park and the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City. Canada's Circuit Gilles Villeneuve retains its place on the schedule after stepping in as a replacement venue this year, while Miami drops off after also serving as a late addition this season.
