Liverpool has reportedly identified Hoffenheim winger Bazoumana Touré as a prime candidate to replace Mohamed Salah, according to reports from both English and German media. Scouts from the Merseyside club have been regular attendees at nearly every Hoffenheim match, closely monitoring the promising 20-year-old's performances. German newspaper "Bild" suggests that Hoffenheim will demand around €40 million for the talented left-footer, who is under contract until the summer of 2029 with no release clause included.

The reputable German publication further states that Liverpool representatives were also present at last week's friendly between Ivory Coast and Scotland, which the African nation won 1-0, a match in which Touré played the full 90 minutes. The wide player was also part of the national team during the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year, where he scored two goals. Other English clubs, including Aston Villa, have also shown interest in the player. This season, he has contributed 11 assists and two goals in 24 appearances across all competitions for Hoffenheim.
