Barcelona star denies spending N16M at a restaurant

Messi has been spending time at Ibiza during the post season break along with his family and friends including Luis Suarez and Cesc Fabregas.

The football star was rumoured to have spent N16m at a restaurant in Ibiza after a photo of a receipt went viral on social media.

The receipt was from Lío Ibiza, Club Restaurant Cabaret where Messi and his friends had shared photos from on Instagram.

Messi has however denied the claims by commenting on the Instagram post of the receipt.

“Jajajajajajajaja que manera de hablar al pedo. Como inventan. lo mas lindo es que la gente se lo cree,” the 29-year-old wrote on the comment section of the post.

The post translates to “Hahahahahahaha, what a way to talk s***. How they invent. The most cute thing is that people believe it.”

Messi has been enjoying the sun in Ibiza with his wife and kids along with Suarez and Fabregas who are also with their families.
