The Valencia-based side once again demonstrated their resolve in the fight for top-flight survival, adding three vital points to their tally. Levante started the match strongly and could have taken the lead in the 6th minute, but Karim Tundel's shot rattled off the crossbar.

Two minutes later, the referee issued a direct red card to Carlos Espi, but after VAR intervention, the official overturned his decision, and the card was downgraded to a yellow.

In the 28th minute, the hosts scored a goal that was subsequently disallowed for offside.

Then, in the 61st minute, they were awarded a penalty, which Della failed to convert.

Levante's relentless pressure paid off in the 83rd minute when Carlos Espi headed home after a cross from the left by Manu Sanchez.

But the drama wasn't over. In added time, the hosts were awarded a second penalty. This time, Ivan Romero stepped up, but his effort was also saved by goalkeeper David Soria. Getafe, meanwhile, were reduced to ten men as Zaid Romero, who committed the handball for the penalty, received a second yellow card, leading to a red.

Ultimately, Levante celebrated the victory, accumulating 29 points and sitting in 19th place, second from bottom, in the table. Getafe occupies 8th position with 41 points.
