Hamza Garba, Head of Clinical Unit recounts that a bleeding patient from ‘Yar Tukunya village in Gusau LGA was brought into the clinic, admitted and quarantined, but died before it could be confirmed it was Lassa fever.

Dailypost reports that Habib Yalwa, Director of Public Health in the Ministry of Health says no case of that nature has been recorded.
