Lamido is expected to visit the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) on Thursday, June 18, after being invited by the agency.
The former governor disclosed this while speaking with journalists in the Birninkudu Local Government area of the state.
“I am aware of the invitation,” Lamido said adding that he wouldn’t ignore the agency’s summons.
He is expected to answer to allegations of fraud after he was accused of conspiring with his sons, Aminu and Mustapha Lamido to steal about N1.3 billion from the state's coffers.
