Club coach Tunde Abdulrahman, assistant in car crash

Coach of Nigeria Professional Football League side Kwara UnitedTunde Abdulrahman  and his assistant were involved in an accident at Elegbeka, Ondo, on their way to a league match.

Kwara United  are to face Bayelsa United at Oghara this weekend and the coaching and his assistant were on their way when the accident happened on Friday, June 26.

learnt that no injuries were sustained in the accident but it is unclear the state of Adbulrahman and his assistant.

It is also unclear if the coaches were traveling with their players or not.

These are hard times for Abdulrahman who has been given a three-match ultimatum to save his job.

Negative results against Bayelsa United, Enyimba International FC and FC Taraba could see the management wielding the axe.

Adbulrahman was appointed coach of the club early this year replacing Samson Unuanel who was fired barely leading the team to a return to the Nigeria topflight.
