Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo, will only play in the English Premier League either with his parent club, Chelsea or if he gets signed by another club in the league.
The defender's hopes of playing in the English top tier was dashed yesterday after Middlesbrough was defeated by Norwich 2-0 in the playoff Wembly final on Monday, May 25.
Cameron Jerome and Nathan Redmond struck early in the first half for Norwich to gain promotion at the expense of Middlesbrough.
Omeruo however played no part in the final as he was not named in the team for the game at Wembly.
The Chelsea defender who is on-loan to Middlesbrough has seen first team appearance limited due to loss of form.
Omeruo has not revealed where he will playing next season.
He was among the foreign based players called up by coach Stephen Keshi for the 2017 African Nations Cup qualifiers against Chad.
