Omeruo missed Super Eagles last game against Tanzania due to an injury but is set to return.

The Alanyaspor defender according to Complete Sports will replace either Jamiu Alimi or Chidozie Awaziem in the squad for the game against Zambia in Ndola on Sunday, October 9.

Another player who missed out on the win against Tanzania is Alex Iwobi but the Arsenal forward is expected back in the squad.
