Juventus Accelerates Talks for Emiliano Martinez

A crucial round of negotiations is set to take place today between Juventus management and the agent of Aston Villa goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez. This follows the player's involvement in Argentina's dramatic 3-2 victory over Egypt at the North American World Cup.

It's been a busy summer for Martinez, balancing his 2026 World Cup duties with decisions about his potential next club career move. Juventus has made progress in talks to sign the goalkeeper, according to renowned journalist Gianluca Di Marzio. However, the Turin giants are pushing to accelerate the finalization of a deal with Aston Villa. This urgency is why the Italian club's hierarchy has scheduled a personal meeting with the 33-year-old's agent.
