‘You can’t buy class’ Man United boss responds to jibe in Man City documentary

Mourinho was criticised In a Manchester City documentary called  'All or Nothing', a series on their record-making 2017/2018 Premier League season.

In the second episode of the series which was released by Amazon Prime on Friday, August 17, a jibe was thrown at Mourinho with the December 2017 Manchester Derby which City won 2-1 in focus.

In the build-up to the game, the programme’s narration describes the tie as  'Guardiola versus Mourinho once more; possession versus defence; attacking football versus 'park-the-bus'.

There are also clips of Mourinho playing down the importance of possession statistics and City fans singing 'park the bus' while celebrating the victory at Old Trafford.

Mourinho was not pleased about the jibe and believes Manchester City were disrespectful.

"You can have a fantastic movie while respecting others,” Mourinho told .

“You don't need to be disrespectful to have a fantastic movie. You can be a rich club and buy the best players in the world but you cannot buy class and they showed that clearly, that was really obvious.”

Mourinho’s Manchester United will take on Brighton away in their next Premier League clash on Sunday, August 19.
