MotoGP championship leader Jorge Martin is confident he will be fully competitive across the final five rounds of the season, insisting his toughest challenges are now behind him.
The Aprilia rider's form has fluctuated significantly at various circuits throughout the campaign, alternating between dominant victories and weekends where he unexpectedly lacked front-running pace. Following the summer break, the Spaniard secured a win and a runner-up finish at Silverstone, but struggled at MotorLand Aragon and surrendered crucial points at Misano due to arm pump issues.
Nonetheless, Martin has returned to the podium in each of the last three races. His third-place finish at the Mandalika Circuit last Sunday saw him reclaim the championship lead over Ducati's Marc Marquez.
"I'm really pleased to take a third consecutive podium with Aprilia, which is a fantastic achievement. I have full confidence that I will carry strong pace into all the remaining races. There were rounds where I anticipated having a tough time, and that proved to be the case. Now, I don't feel I'll struggle like that anymore. I'll be fully competitive and completely focused on what's ahead," said the 2024 champion.
