When it comes to next season's Most Valuable Player (MVP), general managers heavily favor Victor Wembanyama. The San Antonio Spurs superstar swept 77 percent of the votes, while Nikola Jokic finished in second place, with executives giving him just a 10 percent chance of claiming the MVP award.
A similar voting breakdown emerged in the projections for the league's top international player. Wembanyama leads that category as well with 53 percent of the vote, compared to Jokic's 47 percent.
However, general managers still project Jokic to be the NBA's best center and premier playmaker, while also recognizing him as the player with the highest basketball IQ in the league.
Jokic was also included in the projected All-NBA First Team, joined by Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Anthony Edwards, Luka Doncic, and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
In the category of the best player outside the NBA, Sasha Vezenkov scored a dominant victory. The Olympiacos forward secured 77 percent of the vote, according to "Eurohoops".
Second place went to Jonas Valanciunas, center for Zalgiris and recent member of Denver. Besides them, Kendrick Nunn, Jean Montero, Nikola Mirotic, and Walter Tavares also received votes in the survey.
And who will win the title? General managers believe San Antonio will claim the championship ring (50 percent), while Oklahoma City comes in second with 43 percent of the votes.
Other categories saw clear favorites as well: Erik Spoelstra was once again voted the best head coach in the league, while Stephen Curry retained his status as the best pure shooter.
